kwdfoundationboard@gmail.comThe Purpose of the KWDF Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships to deserving African American students pursuing or intending to pursue an engineering related course of study at an accredited higher educational institution.
The KWDF Scholarship Fund’s award ceiling and number of recipients per year is decided by the board of directors. KWDF will award one (1) to ten (10) scholarships, ranging in amounts from $500 - $5,000 per award, based on the discretion of the board of directors. NOTE: Scholarship funds will be awarded to the student upon evidence of registration in an accredited higher educational institution. All awarded funds will be dispersed directly to the student’s educational institution on the student’s behalf.
The Keith and Warren Dudley Foundation (KWDF) proudly congratulates Shariah Yearwood as the first Scholarship Award recipient! Shariah Yearwood graduated from Wilkes Barre Area High School on June 7, 2024. She will be attending Penn State in the Fall of this year. Shariah will be majoring in Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering. Her passion for Environmental Engineering comes from a deep desire to effect positive change in this crucial field. The Keith and Warren Dudley Foundation is honored to provide Shariah the opportunity to pursue her goals and career aspirations. KWDF encourages Shariah to continue to strive for academic excellence!
